In the menu bar at the top of my Documents Folder on my new iMac there is a
“?.”

When I click on it, I get a window that says “This item can’t be found.

I didn’t know you could add files or folders to the menu bar at the top of this
window; however when I check my old iMac, there is a folder. One of mine that I
must have put there? Actually that same folder is on my desktop as an alias.

How do I get rid of the “?” and how dis i get a folder up there on my old
computer.

Note: I just got a new iMac. My old (2013) iMac started acting up - turning off
in the middle of work. It would start back up but I couldn’t afford any more
“heart attacks’ so I bought a new one. I had planned on buying one this fall
but since the new iMacs had just come out I got one. I haste the apple store if
they would copy the material on the old machine over to the new one and if they
could get the old one working dependably, I’d take it home with me, too.

Both running Sierra (10.12.5)
