I would suggest having some spare uSD cards on-hand (they are not very expensive), but the card you have is probably OK. The filesystem can become corrupt if you ever reset or remove power from your BeagleBone, which needs to be shut down properly just like any other modern computer. If you have not been doing any improper shutdowns, it is more likely the card is defective. In my experience, often when I write a new image to the uSD (ideally using bmaptool which doesn't write *EVERY* sector) a flaky uSD card will work normally again. But if I have problems with the same uSD card more than once, it goes into the trash bin (as I said above, they are inexpensive...it's not worth the headache to work with a bad card). -- Charles Steinkuehler [email protected] -- website: http://www.machinekit.io blog: http://blog.machinekit.io github: https://github.com/machinekit --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Machinekit" group.
