Thanks for the responses Mike. I'm not sure if you've
followed the entire thread but another lister has said that
he will ship me an Iomega power supply. The power supply
that I am using for this machine delivers 1A max. The
specifications for the Iomega Zip's power supply, as stated
on their website are 1.7A max. I'm not a tech trained
individual but I have a feeling that the missing .7A is a
crucial part of this dilemma. If it doesn't work with that
power supply, then I will do as you suggest. Regards, John.
