Hi all;
I found my problem. It was two things glitching things up. I turned off
program linking and it still did the same thing. On a wim, I took the same
program, one on my G3 and the other on the shared disk and played with them
and found the other problem. "Creation dates". It would always launch the
version of the app with the newest creation date. I had forgotten about that
old rule,"last installed, first launched". The 6360 came with 7.6.1 on a 1
GB HDD, which I swapped for the HDD from my old 6230, which had a 4.3GB with
a newer install of 8.6. Old age, I guess. <;=p Thanks for all the help, hope
I can return the favor one day.
