Humm... sounds just like mine. I'll plug mine into a LocalTalk Mac tomorrow and check it out (right now it is plugged into a DeskJet 855, which we can agree it will work with). I am nearly 100% sure that this is the box I was using when I used to connect my older machines to my Ethernet.
