I'm attempting to set up file sharing between my new eMac running OsX 10.2.1 with an old Mac IIsi running 7.1 update 3 with Appearance Manager, drag & drop, etc, Open Transport 1.1.2., with ethernet. I connected the two computers together with a crossover cable, and am able to see each computer from the other. The eMac is able to connect to the IIsi and mount shared volumes, and move data both ways. However, I have not been able to successfully connect to the eMac from the IIsi. When I attempt a connection, I get a message that "The connection to this server has been unexpectedly broken."
Any suggestions? Thanks. Bob -- MacNetwork is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... XRouter Pro | Share your DSL or cable modem between multiple computers!
