They are PhoneNet connectors. You use 4 wire flat telephone cord to connect Mac's and AppleTalk printers into a network. You also need a small terminator resistor to fill the blank jack at each end. Asante makes a "EtherTalk" hardware bridge to join AppleTalk to an ethernet network. You just plug the PhoneNet into the bridge.

BTW, how was First Saturday? I figured it was too stormy so i didn't go.
