although i just dumped spamaol observations below. between spam, lack of address and mail management in 4.0 and unstable 5.0 i dumped spamaol after 10 years, for davisp.com for less $, only bad thing is you have to have os 10.2.8 and java 1.4.1.
if you have a router you have a lan, try setting up as lan to see if it will hold.
