I have a LAN and I use a cable Modem. On my LAN are a G3, a G4, a 3400

G3 as Server and my Quadra 610 as a client.

Then for some reason myQuadra 610 couldn't find the G3 in the AppleShare
list, even though it could still access the Internet using iCab or Anarchie.

tcp via ethernet, appletalk via printerport? if it is a appletalk printer (laserwriter IInt enz.) then you could use laserwriter bridge software to enable appletalk to both the printerport and the ethernet port
