Surprise, surprise Steve to keynote MWSF

Perhaps IDG World Expo should only issue a press release if the reality-distortion
field master isn't going to do the honors?
IDG World Expo has announced that our man Steven "no salary, only the jet" Jobs will
deliver the opening keynote address at Macworld Conference & Expo/San Francisco 2003.
The event's organizer also made several minor announcements regarding the privilege of
witnessing the master go through his now patented shtick:
� Keynote will be open ONLY to Platinum Pass, Super Pass, Macworld/Pro,
Macworld/Users, Macworld/Power Tools, Workshop and Hands-on MacLabs attendees. Seating
is still, however, on a first-come, first-serve basis except for Platinum and Super
Pass attendees who will have access to Keynote VIP seating.
� Keynote VIP seating -- This never before offered feature is open to Platinum Pass
and Super Pass registrants. "Have peace of mind knowing that your Keynote seat is
guaranteed, you will not have to wait in the general attendee line!" enthuse the
show's organizers.
Macworld San Francisco is scheduled to January 6 through 10 at the Moscone Center.
Naturally, the conferences begin a day ahead of the exhibition (the 6th). Attendees
can register here. Media representatives (that don't write or say things Apple doesn't
find fault with) and exhibitors will be able to register from Oct.
Editor's note: Being the unrequited democrat that I am, I firmly believe all concerts,
sporting events and similar mass gatherings should be open seating only, except for
maybe the President. Paying for the privilege of "better than everyone else" seating
is so elitist. If someone waits in line all night, why shouldn't they sit in the front
row?
