By Remy Davison, Insanely Great Mac
November 24th 2002

Apple, Adobe, MS, Roxio take honors, while MacExpo reports attendance up 5%.

Apple walked away with six of MacUser's awards at the MacExpo ceremony, held at
London's Business Design Center, on November 21-23.

Apple's Cinema HD Display, Final Cut Pro 3, the iMac G4, and iPod won their
categoties. Rendevous was named 'Innovation of the Year', while a sixth Cupertino
product, the 17" LCD iMac, won 'Product of the Year'.

Adobe had nothing to be ashamed of, with two MacUser awards for Photoshop 7.0 and
Indesign 2.0. Other notables included Roxio's Toast-with-Jam, Microsoft Office v.X and
D-Link's BlueTooth USB adapter.

MacExpo reported record attendance at the show, with 22,286 over three days. As the
Expo's website notes, this goes against the tide, as most trade shows are reporting
reduced attendance this year. This year's figures represent a 5% increason on 2001.

Apple has also reported strong growth in the UK market, with the company's market
share rising to over 3%, a major improvement over recent years, when the Mac has
lagged below 2%.
