Sonnet Drops Prices on Encore Power Mac G4 Upgrades

Price per MHz drops as speeds rise.
Sonnet Technologies has cut prices by up to $100 on its range of G4 Power Mac and Cube
upgrades. The Encore/ST line includes 800MHz, 1.0GHz and 1.2GHz CPU upgrades.
Power Mac models suited to the Encore/ST include:
Power Mac G4 (AGP Graphics)
Power Mac G4 (Gigabit Ethernet)
Power Mac G4 (Digital Audio)
Power Mac G4 (QuickSilver 2001)
Power Mac G4 Cube
Macintosh Server G4
The CPUs all include 2MB DDR L3 caches. The 800MHz and 1.2GHz kits for the Cube are
available for immediate order, while the 1.0GHz kit will be available in Q2 2003.
The Cube requires the appropriate installation kit. See Sonnet's site for more details.
Prices are:
Encore/ST G4 800 Mhz $369.95 (was: $399.95)
Encore/ST G4 1.0 Ghz $569.95 (was: $599.95)
Encore/ST G4 1.2 Ghz $669.95 (was: $799.95)
