Chimera renamed Camino
By ron carlson, Insanely Great Mac

The open-source browser for X gets a new moniker

Mozilla.org has renamed Chimera, Camino, which is (and was) a web browser for OS X
that has a Cocoa user interface, and is based on the Gecko layout engine. It is
intended to be a simple, small and fast browser for Mac OS X.

"Due to circumstances beyond our control, the project has been renamed Camino," states
the group's webpage.

Camino is still in the beta stages of its development. However, Mozilla.org reports
that it is stable enough to use day-to-day, but "you may still encounter bugs."

Camino can be downloaded here.
