Apple Stockwatch: AAPL Hits $15.00 - Finally
By Remy Davison, Insanely Great Mac
March 19th 2003

Time to buy or sell?

The rumors we've been reporting must have finally bitten Wall Street: Apple shares
have broken the elusive $15 mark for the first time since December 2002.

After trading in the low $14 mark through 12 March, AAPL rose to high 14s and then hit
a high of $15.01 on March 17.

The stock has lost a lot of value in the last 12 months, however. In May-June 2002,
shares traded at around $25. Late June '02 saw the stock fall to the $17-$18 range,
with a decline to under $14 in October. A mild recovery was staged in early November,
with the price rising briefly to around the $17 mark, before profit-taking quickly set
in. Until March 17, shares traded steadily in $14 range throughout '03.
