QuickLink Mobile Mac, Sprint PCS support unveiled

Smith Micro expands mobile connectivity for 'the rest of us' with too to connect to 
the web via cellphones without a cable 

Smith Micro's Mac division has announced that the QuickLink Mobile Mac wireless data 
connectivity solution now supports Bluetooth technology.  PowerBook G4 users can 
instantly connect wirelessly to the Internet via their Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone 
without the need for a tether. 

QuickLink Mobile offers anytime access to email, file uploads/downloads, web surfing 
and corporate Intranets without being plugged in a network or modem line connection.  
The solution includes powerful setup assistant that automatically detects the mobile 
phone, the computer's operating system settings and your high-speed mobile account 
settings from your carrier's account in just minutes. 
 
Sprint PCS support

Smith Micro also announced it's newest Mac version of QuickLink Mobile Mac also 
supports Sprint PCS' 1xRTT high-speed data network.  Mac users can surf the Internet, 
check email or access corporate intranets on the enhanced Sprint Nationwide PCS 
Network. QuickLink Mobile Mac already operates with wireless data networks provided by 
Verizon, Cingular, TELUS (Canada), AT&T, Nextel and T-Mobile. 

Smith Micro will be exhibiting (booth 4775) at the CTIA show in New Orleans on Mar 17 
~ 19 and will be demonstrating QuickLink Mobile Mac with the Bluetooth capability at  
along with many of its other wireless products.  QuickLink Mobile Mac with Bluetooth 
will ship in Q2 for $39.95 (SRP).
