Upgrade to cgi 2.57 or beyond?

Just found out that the webServer and the OSX box are running 2.56
while my linux and solaris boxes I thwacked over to 2.752....

so should I just pull the source over and do the

        make *.PL
        make
        make test
        make install

or.....
