Sigh. This comes up about every three months or so. I guess no one reads the archives. :-(
The answer, as always, is to read the instructions that come with the module. The self-tests need to know what database to use for testing purposes, and what username/password to use when connecting to it. The instructions that come with the module detail how to configure it properly to give it that information.
