When I go to https://ports.macports.org/port/texlive-luatex/details/ and see texlive-luatex <https://ports.macports.org/port/texlive-luatex/> (tex/texlive-luatex) Updated: 8 months, 1 week ago , does that mean the code has not been updated from TeXLive in that long or only that the macports scripts that govern pulling source from the TexLive hasn't been updated in that long?
I ask because right now LaTeX (if I understand correctly, especially luatex) is undergoing rapid development due to the deadline pressure of ADA compliance for colleges and universities where a lot of math/science course materials are produced using LaTeX. I'm trying to keep up with those developments and the current versions are failing with several of the recommended commands. Thanks, Lenore
