Alex,
Yes I can do that, map keys but its too soon on the Mac experience
yet. Why I am so fouused on a good list tho is that I am too new to the
Mac and dont want to stumble around.
When you say to go to display settings and look at the table, this
is on the Mac? That might be just what I want. Thanks.

You can re-assign the keys on any braille display for the Mac. The best way to figure
things out is to toss out the Hims command list, except for special scroll key commands,
and go off what the Mac says. Open up your display settings, go to "assign
commands", and look at the table; those are the mappings your Edge will use.
As to the vo-j, yes, that's the command I mean. VoiceOver calls it "jump to linked
item", and if memory serves, it's in the Nvigation menu when you are choosing the
command.

Don and Alex,
There has to be an updated list somewhere but it looks to be invisible.
HIMS' and Apple's have lists but they do not agree with each other and when the
Edge is in VO help mode, that too is not in agreement.
I got the iPhone list sorted out but not the Mac. Wish HIMS would get on it.

Thanks Alex.
What I am doing is in mail I use the classic view and have filters set up for
several mailboxes. So, I arrow down the list of mailboxes and when I come
across one containing messages I hit vo j to jump to the list of actual
messages.
Hope that clarifies.

I haven't looked in the menus, so it might not be there. Based on your subject, though,
you might be looking for the wrong thing. The command you want to assign is "jump to
linked item". I'm pretty sure I've seen it, but don't have a display right here to
check.

Hi,
I have a braille edge 40 which I use as a display and input device with my imac.
There are commands to do a lot of things, but I can't find an equivalent to the
vo j command. Does anyone know if this command is supported and if so what is
the key combination?
Thanks,
Don
