A couple of weeks ago, I requested help diagnosing what was wrong with my
iPhone 5, running IOS7.1.1. After trying unsuccessfully to restore it through
Itunes, I took it to a local repair place. They swapped out the ports,
microphone and battery, claiming there was dried moisture causing a short and
compromising the battery.

I took it home, and everything worked fine; restored it to its latest backup,
even downloaded a few Bard Mobile books. Put it on the charger (which I KNOW
workdd, because it charged my iPad 2 successfully) and, when I woke up this
morning at six, it was dead agin.
Itunes reports that it's in recovery mode, but I have not tried another
restore, because I'm going to take it back to the local repair place today as
is.

Has anyone else experienced similar problems? Does this remind anyone of
anything? I just spent $155 to fix this bugger, and since the parts he
installed are obviously not the problem, I doubt I'll get my money back, which
means I am ... peeved...

Thanks; be well.
