Hello Phil,

Yes, that’s all there is to it with Pages. You can certainly create a 
hierarchical table of contents if you set different levels of headings.
Everything you want to show up in the table of contents for each heading should 
all be on one line, and if it’s too long, use a line separator rather than a 
new line to go onto the next line.
