There are lots of dictation commands on the Mac. First, make sure that you have
selected Use Enhanced Dictation in the Dictation & Speech pane of System
preferences. Then go to the Accessibility pane and select Dictation in the

You can also assign your own commands to specific key combinations. I’ve found
that selecting an application to which these should apply doesn’t seem to work.
But selecting all applications does. So if you choose to add a command for
Cmd-Shift-d, it will work for sending an e-mail and for opening the Desktop
folder.

hard for Siri to understand what I am trying to say. I have tried
dictating to the Mac and there is no issue so far with it
understanding what I say. So are there any Siri like commands for the
Mac's dictation program? For instance, how would I dictate an email
address, to put it in the To field of Mail or another web-based email
message.
