Sorry, this was another Chris polluting Christopher-Mark's thread. I hunted around a bit and couldn't find any thunderbolt hubs. I found various port replicators for laptops but not just a box with a bunch of Thunderbolt ports on it.

Hi. Yes, there are a bunch of thunderbolt hubs on the market...

What is your specific machine? Do you have a firewire port? Does your
display in question have any other connection types besides
thunderbolt?

If you're dead set on a USB audio interface, I'd suggest Mark of the
unicorn or Focusrite. USB should really be the last choice though for
reliable multi track audio...

For USB and Firewire you could get a hub to get around the lack of two
ports for daisy chaining. Does such a box exist for Thunderbolt?

Cameron,

Again, does it have to be firewire? Do you not maybe have something that
is

USB?

Hey again... Sorry, I sent that before I was done!

The mac drivers are solid and the preamps are very nice! It's bus
powered and the form factor is very small. It is also very durable.

You have two xlr/line inputs, phantom power, midi ports, main stereo
outs with volume control, and two headphone outs with volume controls.

It works great under mac OSX but does not work under windows seven
with bootcamp. I need an interface that works under both platforms and
the product page did not specify that windows seven under bootcamp was
a no go!

Anyways, get in touch if you want a good deal on a mint condition
interface with brand new thunderbolt cable that has been used a grand
total of one time!

Shoot me an e mail if interested.

I'm actually as well in the market for not so much a mixer, as much
as
an
audio/midi interface. The interface I now have won't work with El

as it's just too old. Plus, it's no longer even being supported by
the
manufacturer. So, though I love what I have, the bottom line is, if
I
want

to get on El Capitan, it's gonna have to be upgraded, bottom line.
This

is
swearing left and right up and down to me about it saying how they
think
it

would be absolutely perfect for my need. How're the mac drivers? I
hear
they are extremely stable, as they actually just use the OSX core
audio,
rather than their own native driver.

Hi. The blue spark is an amazing microphone for the money.

As for a small format mixer, the mackie Onyx line has great
microphone
preamps and very nice EQ etc. Have a look at those. The drivers are
very stable as well.

Hi Cameron,

A product between AU$900 to 1000 would be great.

I probably want to record myself as Wellers VoiceOver output from

What's your budget?

How many channels of audio do you plan to record at a time?

Thanks for any insight.
