Yeah, I agree. That's probably unfortunately what I'm going to wind up doing,
for the time being. Either that or just leave, as Mike said, the others
unplugged.

Again, I appreciate everyone like you who answered my thread, and took me
seriously.

Have a blessed day, yall.

Chris.

Hi again, It would be interesting to see what apple would do about it, though
for the short term, I would think that disabling the hey siri function in the
devices you don’t need it on, would be the best solution. HTH Jerry

  Jerry,

Thank you for a mature answer as this. This is exactly what I initially was
trying my darndest to explain. Yes. That is precisely what is occuring. All
the devices are getting activated at the same time.

this is why I was wanting people's thoughts, as you gave, of a good solution.
I think writing Apple about this is in order... don't you? I mean, surely I
cannot be the only consumer out there who has multiple devices in the same room.

Hi all, As to the serious side of this question, It I think would make it
difficult to use the Hey Siri feature with more than on device turned on as
once your voice has traied the siri in all the devices, they would all work
together. Unfortunately, I think the only answer would be to turn off all but
the device you wanted to must use and then that one would only work. I know
this is obvious but perhaps if you disguised you voice and trained with each
disguise it might work with all of them on. HTH

Maybe your sleepless state is affecting your sense of humor Chris. I also
see the humor in it.

I think it funny Chris. All of your devices not knowing if you have
their attention!

            Guys,

First of all, I'm not about to get into a philosophical debate with
any of you either on nor off list about the privacy concerns of this, so don't
even start! I however have been doing some kind a random thinking this
morning. You see? That's what happens when I'm real tired, and need sleep...
or... coffee. LOL! Anyway, here's my point.

I have several I O S devices ranging from an IPhone 5S all the way
up to an IPhone 6S, as well as an IPad Air first gen. Call me weird, as I know
some of you will, but I do like using "Hey Siri." So, what happens, if
multiple devices are in the same room, and you say, "Hey Siri!" Will all of
'em go nuts on me? That could get really scarey! LOL!

In all Seriousness though, is there a way to tell I O S which
device should take
             precedents over another?

I'm thinking this may be a good one for

            http://www.apple.com/feedback

I'm thinking something like an ability within the Siri settings to
actually specify what key word needs to be said. Whether that be a customized
typed key phraise, or a list of a couple predefined choices. This way, I could
set one device to one trigger, and the others to another. This way they'd not
get themselves confused.

            What do you all think?

            Chris.
