I'll definitely be keeping a lookout for it as I have absolutely no intention 
of upgrading any of my Windows 7 PCs to Windows 10.

I am a strong believer in the old adage of "if it ain't broken, don't fix it."

    I didn't actually get upgraded. I got annoyed when Windows Update appeared 
to be stuck with this. So googled it.

    First, Microsoft sneaked it in a couple months ago as an optional item with 
the name Update for Windows 7 and a kb number. This installs the gwx aoolet 
which waits for you to press that button on the update page. Until you do, you 
cannot check for other updates.

    Maybe by that time I will wean myself off Windows completely and uninstall
