Some do not like change, its scary to them. Calling it a scam is a
reflection of that fear. Without change, where would we be now?
"Most consumers" is not really useful except to the data collectors,
its merely a loosely worded phrase to push points across. More
meaningful would be one's own personal experiences with something.

The fact is most consumers know what bluetooth does roughly and they know they
might use it but they have no idea the differences in the protocols. There are
exceptions of course but the vast majority walk in to best buy and buy the
cheapest model or the one they claim to be the best model but it’s all based on
product placement and advertising, not real facts.
There are consumers who will drill down and learn more they just aren’t the
majority.
