That would make complete sense.  I have a Creative Sound Blaster Live 24 Bit 
card which I got way way back in the days.  I mean, we’re talking probably 
around 2007, maybe 2008.  It’s fairly old, but it definitely does the job, and 
yes, it is totally 100% OSX compatible.  Also, you may want to check out the 
Griffen line of products.  I’ve never personally owned nor seen one, but I know 
people who have used them with the mac, and have had extremely good results.
