HI Donna,

They will hso up as devices in Bluetooth on both your mac and watch,
But to get them to pick up sound from your computer you will need to manually
select them.
As for the watch, yeah good luck with that, I've never been able to get the
pods to pick up my watch unless the phone is off or out of range

I'll have to give it another try,
That is one of the issues I find with the pods is the switching between
devices, it's not auto you have to switch manually

Subject: getting AirPods to switch to different devices?

Hi all,

My understanding was that the AirPods are supposed to automatically pair with
any device that is connected to iCloud, and automatically switch to the device
that you are using. I have not been able to get them to play with either my
watch or my Mac. How do I do this?
TIA,
Donna
