Hi Donna,

I thought about that myself,
And I know for a fact that can be done on the older model mac computers,

You can turn the alert tones off and if you wan to hear them turn them back on,

I've had to do that a number of times at work.

Hey Simon,

I get that sighted users may not want it, but it seems like they could preserve
it as an option so that anyone, sighted or not, could make the decision for
themselves.
Cheers,
Donna
