Yes, this is correct. Also, one doesn’t need to concern themselves with the various bars and such. It’s like any Windows mail client. You only need to navigate the mailboxes and the message table, and this is done with simple keyboard commands. Again, like any screen reader, if you know the shortcuts, you can avoid getting lost or dealing with areas of the screen that are not important.
