Hi Donnwa,
Have you tried resetting things and then during the setup, chusing not to 
migrate your settings?  Also, are you tried playing anything to see if by 
chance the sound may be either muted or down in some way?  Just a thoought.  As 
a rool
 Of thumb, I usually do not migrate my things from a backup, but if I need 
something I can just copy it over manually.
