I also realized something else after I sent this message.  You’re referring to 
people trying to write in the style of someone or something else.  I’m 
referring to writers using Chat GPT as a tool to spark their own creativity or 
help to push their way through writers’ block, not imitate others.  Where 
imitating others is concerned, I agree.  Chat GPT will use very defined 
parameters to create something in that style, and hence it is not particularly 
abstract.  That’s a different prompt than something like, “explain the 
motivation of Jane, who has recently learned that she can fly, but has decided 
she does not want to do so.”  In the latter case I’m not referring back to a 
previous work or style, I’m just asking Chat GPT to generate ideas.
