Yep. If they're going to buy the basic Mini as it is configured by Apple, then 
it is a good deal and a good entry level computer. As you start to upgrade it, 
though, the prices increase such that you'd get a better deal if you just 
bought the entry level iMac or MacBook.

Sure, but when people are talking about the mini being a way to get ones feet 
wet with Mac, I still say $800 shouldn't be considered an entry level PC.  $500 
yes, $800 no.
