Steve Jobs did a little thing on TTS prior to the release of Leopard at the
Apple keynote. He demoed TTS engines, including Alex. When Anna read through
the file he put up, she couldn't pronounce things like iPod or iTunes
properly, and instead of "web page", it almost sounds like "webbage" so...I
don't know. LOL As for finding her, let's look at it this way. When the Zune
was released, the software was PC only. I believe the same is true of the
in-house synthesizers at Microsoft.
