Hi Colin, Well, it sounds like one of us knows something that the other doesn't, but not sure who. I get to the itunes\music folder by doing the following 1. Go to Desktop, and open Macintosh HD with Command-O 2. Go to users and open. 3. arrow down to the folder with your username and open it. 4. Arrow down or press M to get to Music, and open 5. Press I to select itunes, and open 6. PArrow to your Music folder, and open.
You will see all your music displayed in a finder Window, and from there I just copy to my phone's storage card. Don't know if this is easier than your method or not, but it's what I've been doing.
