Mystery solved!
The clue is in your method, part of it is you go to macintosh [ hd ] what I 
call hd!
So we go to the same place!
Mine is slightly different because I have a shared library, so mine is the same 
as yours until I get to users then I have to open shared folder and the rest is 
the same again!
Sorry the confusion was I thought you were getting direct from Itunes [ from 
the doc ] where all your play list's are!
Its funny though you can burn a disc from there, but you can not put music to 
your phone!
