It's definitely not just you. I noticed the change just the other day. It's despicable, in my opinion. I can get to comments that have already been made on a given thread, but if there have been no comments made, I can't comment. I'm not sure if it's related or not, but I have also noticed that now I am seeing every little update from every person on my friend list, such as what pages they have "liked" recently, the dozens of photos they have added within the past five minutes and the several friends they have added recently. I used to only see status updates, which is all I really want. Honestly, it's nearly unusable to me these days.
