Hi Donna, The reason that the Migration Assistant does not like you having the same name is for data security purposes. The easiest thing to do here is to simply make sure that the name on the MBA is slightly different the original one. For example, use just Donna instead of your full name. It is the short name that is most likely causing the issue and you're not able to change that short name in system Prefs. If you do this, the Migration Assistant will work just fine.
Consequently, you could wipe the MBA, reinstall Lion then do the Migration during the setup process. This will allow you to have exactly the same name and for the MBA to be more or less exactly the same, setup-wise, as your MBP. I've used Migration Assistant in both scenarios without any issues.
