Hi Jennifer!
Firstly and I quote [stop saying sorry hahahahahaha ] people on the list are
glad to help where they can! :]
Now I'm not sure if your running Lion or snowy kitty but in SL to open a tool
bar [and I suppose in Lion as well] just interact with it!
and after you chose your selection it will do one of two things!
Either put you into the next window or you might have to stop interacting to
get to the next window!
Now if you choose to check spelling when you press send, you will be put into
the spell check window, in there are different options for you to use just
arrow across to use the option you need for that word, one of the options is a
table of results this will tell you before opening either no results or if
there is just one that will be already selected and if it is the right one just
go back to the change button and press it!
And spell check will go to the next misspelled word if there is one!
If the table of results says no selection then just interact with it and arrow
down through the choices and find the one you need!
Then whilst on it stop interacting and go to the change button again!
If there is no suggestions at all, go to the field where the misspelled word is
and interact with it and try another version of the word [even if you do not
know how it should be spelt] then press enter and stop interacting and see if
the results table has changed!
After the table of results are other options like add or define! [ just have a
look around to see what's there ]
And finally when you finish the last word the message will go! :]
Also from another thread here is a link to a podcast from vision Australia
using the Lion version!
These podcasts are very good!
HTH Colin
PS Just going to spell check after pressing command+shift+D :]
