Mike, I try to keep my particular views of a particular company off lists. There are many AT companies that I could voice an opinion of, but choose not to as this is not the forum for that sort of conversation. That said, I have never had an issue with having my ILM count reset, I have never had an issue with obtaining any kind of support from Freedom Scientific at all. Every time I contact them for support I have had no issues.
In any case, to continue the thread on the actual issue that I am having. I have been in contact with VMWare support via email and much to my surprise, by phone. I spent a couple of hours on the phone with one of their techs last night and he was stumped. In the end he took a bunch of screen shots and is going to escalate the issue up the line to development. He even downloaded a copy of JAWS and is going to attempt to install it and see what happens. I must say that I am very impressed with the level of service that I have obtained for only a $49.99 purchase price. Will keep ya'll updated on the progress. I suspect that it may have something to do with the fact that the VM is 32-bit and Fusion 4 tools are 64 bit. I am going to attempt to create a 64 bit Windows 7 VM today and see if that does not make a difference. I really did not want to do that though because of the minimum memory requirements needed. I have 4 gig and have 512 allocated to my Linux VM and 512 allocated to my XP VM. This seems to give me the best overall performance for the tasks that I perform on a daily basis.
