Hi Priscilla. I can't answer all your questions, but I'll see what I can offer about braille displays. I have a Focus 40. Mine is not a Blue but the classic. Mine came with a stand which can be removed. I do this sometimes and put the display in my Mac Book Pro case. I have one of those cases that Apple sells. It's a tight fit, but I can get the display in there. Before I got the Mac and the Mac Book Pro case, I used a rolling back pack and did not take the braille display off the stand. I found that the stand increases the weight quite a bit, so when I got my Mac and the case, I started taking the stand off.
