Hey guys, gotta get my 2 cents in on this topic. I don't really care about where I land when Skype starts. My concern is conferences. When I posted a thread a few months ago about making a conference, I got an answer that I had to do all this turning cursor tracking off and routing the VO cursor and some other crap that I can't remember. Bottom line is, that is too time consuming and complicated. There's this program in Windows called GW Connect that allows you to make a conference just by pressing enter or whatever key you have to press for that. It would be nice if Skype for the Mac were that easy to make conference calls. BTW, the reason why I don't care where I land in Skype is because I downloaded a plugin for Adium that allows me to see my Skype contacts via Adium. So for those of you that are complaining about not seeing your contact list when you start Skype, perhaps you can try downloading that plugin. The only catch is you have to have Skype open to use it. You don't have to have the window open, the program just have to be running.
