Hi, Just wondering if it is possible to connect 2 macs on a wired network directly with a cable. THe router is very far away from both to be close to the dsl plug on the wall. I thought that just connecting with a cable should do it since I did this with pc for migration assistent. If it is indeed possible, how do I make sure the connection works and is it slower than passing through a router?
