Hi, I've got a 2011 core i5 macbook pro with 8 gb ram and an ssd and all the
issues you reported.
i can sort of get around with the find feature some times, but not always.
IWork hasn't been updated since snow leopard. I'm wondering if it's partly a
compatibility issue with new operating systems.

i tried tables but it will only import excel files. I'm not really very happy
with the way it imported them either. I'll try it again now and see if i can
force it into submission.

Best,
