I don't use soundflower but supposedly it includes an uninstaller app, which is the ideal way to get rid of all the pieces. If you want to do it manually you apparently have to not only delete the app but also the Soundflower.kext in /System/Library/Extensions and reboot.

I too have it in my system preferences under the sound section but I don't need it and somehow sometimes I get a problem in that my audio routes itself through it and I lose Voiceover. It caused me a bit of a headache so I would be glad to get rid of it. I can't find anything in Audiohijack Pro that would allow me to do it.
