2006/9/29, 박영훈 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: [on 770]
So, my first question is how I can excute commands about usbnet configurations like 'insmod g_ether..' or 'vi edit /etc/network/interfaces' .
You need to have the osso-xterm installed for those (you can find it in http://maemo.org/maemowiki/ApplicationCatalog2006) [on PC]
After running 'ifup usb0', I got a error list like below.. SIOCSIFADDR: No such device usb0: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such device SIOCSIFNETMASK: No such device SIOCSIFBRDADDR: No such device usb0: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such device usb0: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such device Failed to bring up usb0.
The cable needs to be connected (both ends ;) in order to bring the interface up in the PC end. Also I think the 770 needs to have the g_ether module loaded at that point (so the PC sees the ethernet-cabable device in the USB bus). -- Kalle Vahlman, [EMAIL PROTECTED] Powered by http://movial.fi Interesting stuff at http://syslog.movial.fi
