Off the top of my head I don't recall any other examples but I'm unsure of how to tell a gtk1 app from a gtk2 app to see if there is a correlation. Do you know any Mandrake 9.1 standard apps that are gtk1? . I know that if I prefix the button descriptions with a <space> character and sometimes suffix it too, the problem goes away. It definitely appears that when the button corners get rounded, that is when the cropping is taking place. For the checkbox text, I'm unsure as to the cause but proper display is achieved once again by prepending a <space> character. This does not however make the checkboxes line up with their left margin the same as the left margin of the other text entry boxes on the preference panels :-( Dr. QA ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: SF.net Giveback Program.
