if you are asking for mailman-settings exlicitly, there is the verp-probe :

in your mailman.cfg:

whenever the list recognises a bouncing message from sending a list-post
to a members list-address, the list itself sends a message (verp-probe)
to the listmembers-address. If that gets delivered, bounce score is
reset, but if that probe bounces, "delivery is then suspended immediately".
this helped me, when my infrastructure accepted mails from listmembers
to lists but qualified them as spam. When trying to send those mails
back out, the non-mailman-infrastructure did'nt let them out and mailman
thougt, they could not be deliverd (and desubscribed dozens of valid
members).
But i fear your problem is somewhere else.
