The command mailq tells me "Mail queue is empty" most of the time unless I
happen to get in there at the right time there maybe a few messages (less than
five usually) but for the most part it is empty.

We did have what may have been a DNS issue earlier today so I did swap the
relay host in postfix to an IP because things were building up but it has been
basically clear since then.

I did a run some counts on the files in /var/spool/mailman and the total was
just over 11K with the majority being in the out queue and a few hundred in the
bad queue but the rest were clear.

Once Mailman delivers to the outgoing MTA (Postfix), it has no further
involvement. This is a Postfix issue. Are the messages in Postfix
deferred queue? What does Postfix `mailq` say about them?
