Hello Folks

I have a mailing list from about 2000 suscribers, I use it as a
newsletter. I contracted a new host cause the one before could not send
mails to many destinataries at the same time. I did send a message to
the list on Monday and it did delivery fine. I tried to do the same
yesterday and I did not. I have 4 hotmail e-mails, one from yahoo and
another one from another domaine and I did not get the message I did
sent.

Hmmm... you are sure they are all subscribed to the list? You have waited - sometimes it can take hours or days to get mail to a hotmail or yahoo address. I just saw one email delayed 2 hours by yahoo because the list (not my list) it came from had many bad yahoo addresses on it. They delay mail from addresses that try to deliver to invalid addresses.

Fortunately, mailman will purge your list of bad addresses eventually.

I also did not get back the mail I did send (as is usual in any
mailing list).

That is a subscriber option. You can choose whether you get copies of emails that you have posted to the list.

However, 3 persons wrote me back to tell me they have got
the message. These persons have not free-mail account. I don't know
what's going wrong there? Is there a problem from mailman? or from my
provider?

Check that your addresses really are subscribed to the list. Check the user option to receive copies of your own postings.

This is not likely to be a problem with mailman. It could be that your provider is blacklisted by anti-spam mechanisms.
